I am passionate about assisting owner-managed businesses with a keen interest in business development, strategy and personal development.
I believe my broad experience of owning and managing SME businesses, corporate finance and banking bring a breadth and depth of knowledge to most situations.
Candid is a word that has been used to describe my approach which I take great pride in. I have an opinion and will share it with clients to help them improve their business.
Outside of the office, family life with Samantha and two sons, along with a keen interest in football, keeps me very busy. A little cycling helps with efforts to stay fit.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the City of London, I joined Price Waterhouse in Johannesburg and spent 6 enjoyable years there.
I moved to Ireland to work for 2 years before setting up Eastmonds in 1990. I started offering specialist tax planning advice for our clients from 2009.
I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in Business Administration. I’m now an ACCA member and have worked in practice since 2008, starting as an audit and accounts junior before progressing to more senior roles.
At Grey and Green I am passionate about helping drive the business forward whilst ensuring we continue to provide quality services to our existing clients.
Outside of work I love to cook and bake. I also enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures and cuisines.
I previously worked in bookkeeping roles for a number of companies before taking a career break to have my children. At Grey and Green, I really enjoy working with the clients and doing my best to help with any query they have. Outside of work, I enjoy family life and spending time with my children.
While studying for my ACCA qualifications, I graduated from London Met with an MBA. I gained work experience in London with the internal audit department at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and have held other junior accounting roles elsewhere. Following a move to Guernsey I worked as a tax assistant at KPMG and as an accountant in an offshore trust company.
At Grey and Green I am keen to gain experience in UK tax and general accounting practice, as well as be exposed to corporate finance and make use of my MBA training. I am very excited to be part of a company that focuses on client success and building long-term relationships.
